INSTRUCTIONS
I wanted the daisy to be the focal point of my card, so I used shimmery Paper Company cardstock in Seaglass as the accent paper, and embossed a piece of Recollections Precious Metals White with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I cut a small piece of Sookwang Be Creative 2-sided tape and pasted it to a 3x3 piece of white cardstock, then used the Spellbinders die to cut out the large daisy.  I used different media on each petal through a process of masking.  I gently cut through the top layer of the tape’s peel off backing, around the center of the flower, being careful not to cut too deeply into the petals.  Then I peeled the backing off of each petal one at a time to apply the different medias.  I saved the center section for last and applied the 4mm green glass beads.

Please hop over to my friend Linda's blog to see her wonderful creation!

Many Happy Scrappenings!
Anna

  1. Wow, Anna, what a gorgeous flower! I don't know if I would have the patience to go thru all those steps, but it sure makes one adorable card! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Your card makes me want to get out all the seed beads I have and start using them in this way. I have collected many just waiting for me to do an art quilt but I think I could do an "art" card instead. Of course all our cards are works of art..this one sure is.
